Insights of Intellectual Property Law in Islamic Countries

A peer‑reviewed scientific journal published by the University of Qom, accredited by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran (MSRT) and the National Commission for the Evaluation of Scientific Journals in 2024. The journal is devoted to advancing scholarship in the field of intellectual property law, with particular emphasis on Islamic legal contexts and comparative perspectives.

The journal welcomes research and review articles addressing a wide range of topics, including: 

- Copyright and literary/artistic property law;

- Industrial property law;

- Contract law concerning intellectual property;

- International trade and intellectual property; 

- Conflict of laws in intellectual property; 

- Enforcement mechanisms of intellectual property rights; 

- Computer law and emerging communications; 

- Jurisprudential and theoretical foundations of intellectual property and human rights; 

- Registration law of intellectual property; 

- Biotechnology law; 

- Internet law and electronic commerce; 

- Technology transfer and know‑how agreements; 

- International arbitration and dispute resolution in intellectual property; 

- Philosophy of intellectual property law; 

- Technical foundations of computing and data transfer; 

- Competition law and trade secrets.

Author Requirements: 

- Authors must register an ORCID identifier and use an institutional email address. 

- The corresponding author must be a faculty member of a university, institute, or research center. 

- Required submission files include: 

1. Main manuscript (anonymous, formatted according to journal guidelines);
2. Title page with author details;
3. Author commitment form (signed by all authors);
4. CoIF or conflict of interest form (signed by the corresponding author);
5. Supporting letter.

• The final version of the article is required to conform to the journal’s author guidelines by the end of the assessment period.
